Isn’t she beautiful?

isn't she beautiful?! :)

In case you haven’t figured it out by the title of this post – we found out yesterday that our second child will be a girl. Check that, there is a 90% change it will be a girl – they wont give you a 100% certainty, but the technician was pretty certain. This came as somewhat of a shock to both Amy and me. I’m still adjusting to the news…I’m just not sure how I’m going to be able to handle having a girl. I’ve heard this many times before, but it really didn’t ring true until yesterday – now instead of having to worry about just one prick, I have to worry about all the other pricks in the world. :)

Seriously though – this is going to be an adventure for sure. Lets hope she’s tough cause I have a feeling that Liam will be less than gentle with her.

Congrats guys!! Great news, another female for my children :)

Are you sure it’s yours? I mean this is genetics 101. Once you have a boy it’s all boys after that, just like once you have a girl it’s all girls after that. My money’s on Lawson, that ol’ dog. Oh yeah, and congrats btw.

So I’m not sure who he thinks his son’s dad is… as we didn’t have another girl… Oh Trev…

Very excited for you guys! Now Amy gets to buy pink!! I’m sure she’ll be tough as nails – she won’t have a choice with Liam around.

  • Just like Trev, I am capable of producing either sex. :)

Yeah Jules – I saw the flaw in his logic too but didn’t have the heart to tell him. :)

    Gongrats Kev and Amy!

Apparently 51% of the time it’s a girl and 49% boy. That’s what I’ve heard but could be wrong. That would slightly favour having a girl over a boy. I think if the Lawsons keep having kids they could push that world wide statistic to 60-40:)
