This past January, Trev, Dave and I headed out to Jacques Cartier Park to start the year off right with a round of DG. The going was tough, what with 30+ cms of snow on the ground, but we slogged our way though an entire 18 holes. In celebration of the day, Dave trimmed his Christmas beard down and sported an awesome mustache. From this arose an idea… that we should begin to play disc golf every January the 1st (or sometime around then), and not only that, but that we should all be sporting mustaches for the day. So, with this we lay out a challenge. Shave your facial hair on December 1st (and any time after that if you so desire) starting off with a clean slate, grow your Christmas beard (doesn’t everyone do this?), trim it up into a wicked ‘stache on January 1st and join us for some disc golf (date subject to change – but it’ll likely be around then) at the course in Kanata. After the DG we’ll likely find a place to warm up, eat and consume some BEvERages. I was wondering what I would look like with a mustache, and just today I stumbled across the Schick site which allowed me to create that awesome (and somewhat creepy) 3D image you see on the left.
