My buddy Gregg just pointed me to this article in the Ottawa Sun. Apparently some thieves in Renfrew decided to copy a stunt they saw in the TPB movie and yanked a bunch of parking meters out of the ground so they could get the coins inside them. Too funny – I guess Ricky, Julian and Bubbles have some good ideas afterall… :)

Liam’s first St. Patrick’s Day has come and gone and as you can see from the photo to the left, he certainly enjoyed himself. ;) Seriously though, it was a very tame St. Paddy’s Day for the Haggerty family, but I guess that’s to be expected when you’ve got a six month old to take care of. Despite the fact that St. Patrick’s Day fell on a Saturday this year, nobody seemed to have had a party. As a result of this, and the fact that it had snowed all Friday night and into Saturday, Amy, Liam and I just hung out at home all day and then went to church for the Saturday evening mass. I did manage to have one beer but that was it – and it wasn’t even a Guinness. :(

Flickr has finally implemented it’s version of sets of sets, or nested folders – something I have been waiting for for a long time. As you can see from the mosiac to the right, you have the ability to easily create a mosiac for each ‘collection’ (which is what they are calling them) you create. I’m not sure when they introduced these ‘collections’ but it must have been recently. Collections can contains other collections OR sets, but not both. I couldn’t think of a situation where this would be a problem off the top of my head, but natually Dave helped me out.

This post has been a long time coming, even longer than I anticipated it would take me. My original plan was to blog about this trip while it was ongoing but obviously that didn’t happen – more on why that didn’t occur later. Anyways, Dave pointed out to me today that I’ve managed to go an entire month without posting anything so I figured it was either now or never for this post. So here goes…
