It’s been a while since I’ve managed to write down any thoughts here on my blog. Not too much new going on these days – seems like the same old stuff – ultimate, biking, reading, etc. Well actually, that’s not quite true – just this past weekend we took a trip down to Brockville to attend Christine Mason’s baptism. Trev and Julie had asked Amy and I if we would be Christine’s Godparents and naturally we said yes.

The christening (or baptism) took place after the mass on Saturday evening at Trev and Julie’s church in Brockvegas. The priest was quite a character, I’ll say that much. He kept going off on tangents during the ceremony – reminded me a lot of my own ‘Kevin Stories’ to be honest. Christine was VERY good during the whole thing, didn’t cry at all. Of course I was holding her so we can’t be too surprised. ;) Photos can be seen here and here.
Luckily I had made it back in time from my trip to California to attend the christening. I found out early last week (or was it late the week before) that I had to do some more travelling for work. I had to visit a couple of sites to investigate some issues they were having. That meant me flying out Tuesday afternoon and returning on Friday. Unfortunately the sites were located about 6 hours apart (by car) which meant I got to check out more of the California country side. All in all not a bad trip but that’ll be the last one I take until after the baby is born.
And speaking of the baby – Amy is doing great as is baby Haggaret. As far as I know everything is still on schedule. These days you can really see him moving around a lot – very alienesque if you will.
Anyways, that’s about it for now. Until next time…

Good to see you blogging again.
I trust you were not near SF or we should have hooked up for lunch or something ;-)
Hmm, babies… yeah, not ready for that.
Good to hear from you! Congrats on the marriage by the way. The closest I got to SF was SFO. In retrospect though, had I remembered you were there, I would have called you up for a beer on Thursday night. Oh well, next time I guess.
As for babies – not so sure I’m ready either. ;)
Still looking for your thoughts on your robotic vacuum by the way.
