Well once again I am praising Google! Thanks to their caching activities, I was able to recover all my lost comments, and even most of the comment IDs to boot! The only thing I’m missing now, and I’ll never get the info (which doesn’t bother me), is the IP address of the machine that the comment was made from. Oh well. With my backup strategy in place now, hopefully I’ll never have to go through the same pain again.
Oh and thanks to Chris for reminding me that I should be thanking Dave for suggesting I go this route to try to recover my lost comments. :)
