Today is the official start to my 18 week marathon training program. After running with Dave (and Steve) for the last 13 weeks or so, this week should feel pretty easy.
Dave and I are going to follow the novice program by Hal Higdon, which is the same program I used last year before spraining my ankle late in the training routine. Hopefully this year will be better. At least I’ll have someone to train with on those days when I really don’t feel like running.
I think for me the toughest part is going to be squeezing in the runs this week while we’re trying to finish up packing before the move.
