I went to get gas for the rental yesterday, I pulled up to the pump, pressed the button for the grade I wanted and tried to pump the gas. The attendant came out and told me that I had to either use a credit card or go inside to pre-pay for the gas. Didn’t expect that! I mean I’ve NEVER had to pre-pay for gas before. Welcome to Carson California I guess. Anyways, I decided to just pay at the pump with my mastercard but it asked me for my zip code, which I obviously don’t have so I had to go inside afterall. After guessing at how much it would cost to fill up the car, I went back out to pump the gas. I ended up guessing high so I had to go *back* inside to get a refund for the difference. All in all, quite a time consuming experience.
Today I was on my way back to my hotel and I saw the Goodyear blimp landing! Can you believe that?! Unfortunately I didn’t have my camera with me.
And finally…tonight was a 4 mile run. I found it really tough, but that may be because I didn’t have any lunch and then had some McDonalds just before the run. It ended up taking me 37 minutes but that’s because I ended up walking for a minute after 2 miles and then again after 3 miles. I started out at an incline at 1.5 and worked my way down to nothing. All in all, not a great run at all.
…. wasn’t so bad… but I ended up doing 1 mile to start, then working out and going back to finish the remaining 3 miles without a break. I could have gone through the 4 without a break, but I’m doing it on no incline.
