The reasons why I love Flickr! just keep growing.
With my old gallery I had to create albums. That wasn’t so bad, I created them in chronological order and gave each one a title that was appropriate for the photos inside. But I always seemed to have the odd photo here and there that just didn’t fit into an album. I ususally ended up creating a ‘miscellaneous’ album and sticking the photos in there, but then that didn’t really follow the chronological order I was going for.
Well now with Flickr, instead of creating albums, all of my photos simply go into my ‘photostream’. And, as suggested by Boris, (thanks for the suggestion by the way Boris) I can create ‘photo sets’ of just the best photos. This way all of my photos do end up online and viewable (and in the right order), but I don’t need to search for an album to put random photos into. It’s fantastic!
