I’ll say again – don’t take 2 weeks off in the middle of a training program and just sit on your ass.
Did 22.4 kms (14 miles) on Sunday. I only managed to run 20 of the 22.4 kms and ended up walking the rest of the way back to the house. It was definitely tough. My legs were pretty sore on Monday and Tuesday.
Tuesday (yesterday) I ran 5 more miles, picking up at week 15 of the training program. I think my legs were even more sore after those 5 miles. I was hoping the run would loosen me up some but not so.
Tonight is 10 more miles. Haven’t decided if it will be indoors or outdoors, probably outside. We’ll see how I feel after this one.
