Success! I’ve successfully upgraded from 4.4.0 to 4.5.0.
I’ve got the default ‘pushbutton’ theme going right now but once I finish the upgrade to 4.6.0 then I’ll pick a theme and tweak it a bit. Not sure if I’ll do the upgrade to 4.6.0 tonight or not. I’m concerned that I don’t have a high enough version of PHP for Drupal 4.6.0. Need to investigate.
I downloaded a new theme engine, phptemplate, and also some new themes. One in particular that I liked was “slash” which I’m using now. Unfortunately though, it doesn’t seem to display properly. It works on the actual theme selection page, but everywhere else it doesn’t display things properly. Rather frustrating really.
Anyone know what the problem might be?
Deosn’t look like the upgrade to 4.6 is going to happen anytime soon. Turns out you need to have PHP version 4.3.3 or later for Drupal 4.6 and I only have version 4.1.2 on my e-smith box. So unless I figure out how to upgrade my PHP version to 4.3.3 or higher then I’m out of luck. Whether or not I’ll find the time to figure out how to upgrade PHP before the wedding is unknown. I’m going to guess that I wont find the time.
That reminds me…I really need to get a UPS for my server before we go away.
