Well after a week of rest, I started running again last night. It was a short run, only 3 miles, but I picked up the pace a bit from what I normally do. I felt good during and after the run so perhaps my week off did me some good.
Tonight is a 6 mile run, followed by another 3 miles on Thursday. Then on Saturday I get to do a half marathon, the distance, not an actual race.
Was talking to Steve on Saturday and he said that I had better start running outside soon or else I’m in for a big shock. Duly noted, but unless it’s warm enough outside on Saturday (it actually is looking like it will be) then I’ll be sticking with the treadmill.
