So I was sitting at breakfast on Sunday, the day after JK’s wedding and my cell phone rings. It was the flying club telling me that my booking on Monday was cancelled. Something about trying to save hours.
That doesn’t make much sense to me, unless there wasn’t even enough hours for me to complete the trip to Kingston and back. What makes someone else’s booking more important than mine?!
After stewing on it a while, I called Brad to ask him what was up. He was just as frustrated as me, you see he doesn’t get paid unless he’s flying, and if Wayne is going around cancelling his bookings, well…
I just got into work now and was listening to my messages. There was a message from Wayne here at work (turns out he called here first) basically saying the same thing that he told me on Sunday, however, he said they had to save the time for bookings with instructors. Huh?! I was supposed to do the cross country with Brad on Monday! Now I’m really pissed off. How the hell am I supposed to finish my training when my bookings aren’t as important as other peoples?! ARGH!
Anyways, colour me pissed off. Not sure when I’ll ever get these cross countries finished. If it’s not a problem with the weather, it’s a problem with the club.
