Saturday was quite the day for me. It started off with a flying lesson, followed by a hair cut (which I haven’t gotten in quite a long while). I got a hair cut because I had to look good when I proposed to Amy!
Yep…it’s true, I finally asked her, and what’s more…she said yes!
What more can I say, it was a great day. If you want details, I’m afraid you’re going to have to ask her about it. No plans for when / where we’re getting married yet either. I figure it’ll be within 4 years. ;)
I think I’ll follow Boris’ lead and put a webpage up with any details as they are decided. Keep your eyes peeled at http://wedding.haggaret.com. Nothing there yet.
Congratulations, Kevin (and Amy, I guess…she should have held out for someone with more hair).
Don’t know if you should follow my lead…we did finally get a couple of invitations out, but only because we hand delivered them! The mail ones should be going out this week.
Congratulations there Haggerty… A proposal is a big step, while I haven’t really had the chance to meet Amy, I’m sure she’s chosen correctly (as I’m sure you have) no matter what Boris says.
Much appreciated Dave. Oh and speaking of weddings and such, are you planning to make the trek to BC for Boris’ big day? FYI, I’m heading out of Ottawa on the 30th, returning on the 8th and I’m flying with WestJet. It’d be cool to have some company for the flight…
Haven’t booked tickets yet, but will look into the flights you’ve got. Cool!
Haggerty… you flying direct on westjet? Leaving at 8 in the morning on the Friday and coming back at 2 in the aft on the next Sunday?
Yes Westjet, but not direct. I think I stop in Toronto on the way there and Edmonton on the way back.
I leave on Friday, around 1630 and come back on the next Sunday around 1100.
