The weather wasn’t cooperating today and as a result, no flying for me. I showed up at the club at 14:00 for what was supposed to be my first lesson in the circuit but it was not to be. They (whoever they are) were calling for some precipitation, specifically hail or ice pellets so that pretty much put the kaibosh on my flying plans. :(
We decided to take the time to do a briefing on the circuit, as well as take offs and landings. It looks like my first few lessons in flying the circuit may be a little overwhelming, what with all the radio work and constant checking of instruments and all around outside the plane.
We also went over take offs and landings, but that went pretty quick since we’ve been doing those for a while now. :)
Now I just have to get a few bookings and start flying the circuit. I’ll try for a couple of nights next week but who knows if mother nature is going to be nice to me or not…
